After an exhaustive search, we believe we have found a new suitable company to produce our range of miniatures. If all goes to plan miniature production will recommence again in early 2018.

We are heading back to Canberra for Cancon 2018.
Day One: Friday 26th January (Australia day holiday)
Day Two: Saturday 27th January
Day Three: Sunday 28th January
We hope to see the old faces and new ones at our booth. This will be our fourth year. It just keeps getting bigger.

A Great Convention

A fantastic last day at Cancon 2017.
We completely sold out of our new card game Hostile Acquisition. The support and interest was overwhelming. To those that missed out and placed an order for the game, we will contact you as soon as we have new stock available.
Twelve Elements of War had another great year. Our new arctic battlefield was a hit.

Our latest miniatures have arrived. We are pleased to add the Human Toth Clockworker, Small Clockwork Construct & the Medium Clockwork Construct to the Twelve Elements of War (TEOW) range.
We are especially excited about the Clockwork Constructs as they are the first of their kind in the TEOW world.
The Medium Clockwork Construct is our first multipart kit. It comes with the three weapons options detailed in the TEOW Core rules and comes in seven parts to allow you to pose it as you wish.
We hope to bring you some photos of these great miniatures soon.

Just an update on whats going on.
We have miniatures currently at the manufacturers so we hope to get hold of those in the coming months.

Geniocracy of Toth Miniatures

Something new for the Twelve Elements of War Range.
Our first Clockwork Constructs are taking shape. Both the Small and Medium Clockwork Constructs herald the arrival of the Geniocracy of Toth to the tabletop. Along with the constructs we have a Tothian Clockworker to direct and repair the machines of war on the battlefield.
We hope you like them.

Another new render for you. We have a Highguard Swords-person for you tonight. Given that the visor is down on the helmet it could be a Human or an Elf.
We have two more for this batch of Highguard. We have a Faun and a Goblin up next before they go into production.
We hope you enjoy.
PS: As always, please remember that items may be embellished in renders to accommodate the 3D printing process.

The latest warrior to march out from the Highguard training fields is this Dwarf Female Warrior.
Note that some of the features may seem over exaggerated this is due to having to the sculptor having to exaggerate pieces so that the 3D printer can pick up the detail.

Tonight we have the first of many new sculpts from our new sculptor Joe. Joe is currently applying his skill to produce our range of Highguard miniatures for Twelve Elements of War with more factions to follow in the future.
Above is Joe's first sculpt for us, a fearsome Highguard Orc with a Great hammer. We think it looks great and can’t wait to see the rest of the range.

Tomorrow, 13 different Twelve Elements of War miniatures will be added to our webstore. They will become available from 1800hrs AEDT (5th of January). Another 5 miniatures will be added to the webstore on Tuesday the 27th (Australia).
NOTE: We are still in the process of having our miniatures painted for the webstore. The unpainted pictures will be replaced on the webstore as miniatures are completed and photographed.

Some good Christmas news. Customs informs me that they have the miniatures and will release them on the 29th. (It would be released sooner but due to the Christmas/boxing day holidays plus a weekend there will be that delay)
So, baring any issues out of our control, pre orders will start shipping early next week.

International Rulebook Orders
16/12/2014 - Hi All,
Some great news for our US, UK & European customers who want to get their hands on our Twelve Elements of War rulebook. As you may know, in the past we have indicated that we were concerned that the amount of postage paid by our overseas customers was too much (not our fault, talk to our national postage provider) and would put people off purchasing the book.
The great news is that we are in the final stages of putting our softcover rulebook on “Wargame Vault”. What this means is that for our international customers, you would buy our book through Wargame Vault and they will ship it to you from either the USA or UK. This means cheap and reasonable postage.
We envisage this process to be sorted by January some time. We will keep you updated on this……

This (Goblin) Jaded Noble has tired of all the petty politics engulfing the Eastlands of Dothmora. She has set out to right wrongs and bring evildoers to justice. Who justice?, well that remains to be seen. Does she have ulterior motives? No one is sure. Armed with her ancient two handed rune sword, it is fair to say that her justice will be swift and painful.

Just an update on the miniatures and their production. Maxmini has confirmed that the miniatures will be shipping from them on the 18th of November. Allowing 3 weeks for them to travel across the world and pass customs, they will start shipping on the 10th or 11th of December.
Some added goodness will be that 5 of the new miniatures will be available for purchases when this batch arrives. So for those who already have pre-orders and would like to include the new miniatures, we will post some pics up so you can choose if you want to add them to your order.
In the mean time, please enjoy this updated render of 6 of our newest miniatures. Changes have been made to some after feedback (Note: That they are not to scale, just for enjoyment)

The Beast Slayer
14/10/2014 - Hi All,
Stalking the lands of Dothmora, the Beast Slayer tracks her prey. Armed with her heavy crossbow and axe, she stays her targets from range or up-close and personal. The Beast Slayers skills work equally as well on battlefield targets as they do on wild beasts.

Dwarf Highguard "Survivor" Runecaster
01/10/2014 - Hi All,
Of the thousands of troops who marched north under the banners of Highguard during the Schism, only 273 brave soldiers survived the Battle of North Pass. These were no cowards, living only because they threw away their arms and fled the crimson field, but heroes who fought long and hard defending the Sun Standard of Highguard, the personal emblem of the royal house.
Surrounded on all sides by mounds of their fallen comrades intermingled with the torn corpses of Guildsmen, these troopers refused to surrender. Again and again the Mining Guild hurled its warriors against them, but they stood firm, a resolute wall of blood-stained steel and bleeding flesh. Eventually, after hours of fighting, it is said that Guild Father Ashorok himself descended from the mountainside to parley with these men. He allowed them to return to Highguard, their honour intact, still carrying the king’s standard.
King Victor formed these heroes into an elite fighting force known as The Survivors, the guardians of the Sun Standard and personal bodyguard of the king in battle. In the twelve years since their formation, some of the original members have retired or died, and competition to enter this elite unit is fierce. Only the most determined of Highguard’s soldiers are admitted, and only after a gruelling induction trial that claims the lives of many of its participants. The king decreed that the unit would only ever contain 273 individuals, and this tradition continues to this day. With scarlet tabards draped over their gleaming armour, and scarlet plumes on their helms to represent the blood spilt by its founder members on that fateful day, these proud soldiers are instantly recognisable, and feted as heroes wherever they go on the streets of Highguard.

PRE-ORDERS are now AVAILABLE to order on our webstore. Pre-orders will be open until the 28th of September and close at 4:00pm AEST.
Once pre-orders have closed, will send the numbers to Maxmini for production. We will keep you up to date on the production progress.
A few things to keep in mind with the photos. The parts weren’t glued together as these are the miniatures that we are sending to be prepared and painted. All the parts fit together snuggly and the joint gaps are minimal. Any gaps you see in the reorder photos are because of the blue-tac we had holding the parts together. Some of the details will be fine and will need a drybrush or similar technique to really show up on some miniatures.
Photos of the miniatures will be replaced once painted versions are made available.

Here are some quick pictures of the miniatures taken from a trusty mobile camera. You can see that the majority of the detail has transferred over nicely from the 3D renders. What may be hard to see on some of the miniatures (as the camera kept trying to focus on my hand) are the smaller details.
These details will become more obvious when the miniatures are painted. For those of you out there who are fans of playing games rather than painting miniatures, these miniatures will look nice with some careful dry brushing over the raised details on the armour. As you can see from the Shadow Hold Troll, these miniatures turn out really nicely when painted.

Today we have sent of the Arcadian Tax Collector, The Executioner, The Tribal Warrior, The Adventuring Lord and Traveling Scholar off to Maxmini to begin printing and molding. As soon as we have 5 new renders we will send them off to be printed and molded.
The 14 Shadow Hold & Mining Guild masters are still in transit, but we hope to have them available for pre-order VERY soon.

Arcadia is the Eastlands’ centre of commerce and trade. Arcadia is, without a doubt, the busiest city in all of the Eastlands. The streets are thronged with people day and night, all of them out to get a bargain or sell their wares to the highest bidder.
Whether you’re a merchant berthing your ship at one of Arcadia’s many wharfs, a small back street vendor of fruit pies or one of the major merchant princes, all know that if there is one thing you don’t do in Arcadia, it is not pay your taxes.
The Arcadian Tax Collectors walk the streets of the port city heralded by their infamous call of “BRING OUT YOUR DEBTS”. The mere sound of this call sends shivers down the spine of those business owners who have had a slow week and do don’t have the appropriate taxes ready for collection.
Failure to pay taxes will lead to the business owner being sold into slavery and their business holdings possessed by the shadowy Liquidators on behalf of the Lord of Arcadia.

Cloaked in mystery, it is said the Executioner travels the regions of Dothmora dispensing justice where it is needed most. The Executioners story has turned into something of a folklore legend with sightings all over the continent at approximately the same time.
In battle she speaks not a word, hefting her double handed axe with ease and agility, with some warriors saying at a speed that seems almost supernatural.
It is an insane or perhaps misguided Warband commander who deliberately seeks out her services. The ones that are successful, truly have a spirit of death in their midst.

Bequeathed a meager estate, the Adventuring Lord sold everything and has sought out a life of adventure and excitement with one of the many warbands that's taking part in the Shadow War.
This miniature would be great to represent a warbands leader or to be a brash warrior finding his feet on the field of battle.

While work has begun on the 3D printing and molds for the first 14 miniatures. Our sculptor has been busy bringing our concept art to life.
“Phebrickid” (named by our “name the newsletter” competition winner) the Tribal Orc Warrior certainly (in our opinion) looks epic and we are looking forward to bringing him to you as a miniature later this year.
He still has a few minor things that will be tweaked but he looks fantastic. I think I may have to come up with a new backstory for my warband leader now ;)

The Mining Guild and Shadow Hold miniatures begin printing next week. This is the time consuming stage of the process, so i can't give you a solid ETA on any type of preview just yet. But stay tuned.
We hope to have something for you real soon. Once we have signed off on the masters and molds we will put up a pre-order section on the store with pictures of the miniatures (unpainted at this stage). Painted miniature pictures will gradually replace the non painted versions in the webstore.

Instead of focusing on the negatives, let’s focus on the positives. George Edward Woodberry once said “Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure”.
From out of the gloom comes a ray of light. I was contacted by a party from within the industry who wishes to remain anonymous regarding Twelve Elements of War. I am able to show you a snippet of what they had to say.
“We purchased the digital copy of the rulebook from your webstore and have been reading though it and playing an office campaign for the past two weeks. We find that it is simple to learn, we LOVED the lore and mixed race warbands, the game has great replay value and creates some very memorable gaming moments which we understand is what you were aiming to achieve. It’s very sad that Twelve Elements of War hasn't received the attention and funding that we believe it deserves. To that end, we would like to help you get your miniatures produced and available for sale.”

With just over 9 days to go until our Kickstarter campaign. We though that we would give you a little preview of some of the lore that will be in the core rules. This is a low res screen shot of the heroic tale of the Highguard Survivors. This is just a small snippet of a book full of lore. The book has 42,000 + words of background, histories, Lumria Pantheon, race descriptions, runic magic, traditions to name a few sections.

Just over a week ago we showed you our first production miniature, the Shadow Hold Troll. Today we are pleased to present to you the painted version. Painted by Wesley from Centerpiece Miniatures, we went for a pale skin tone and a greyish hair colour. The armour has been given the look of old and poorly maintained. The base is meant to appear as if it was dying.

First Production Miniature Preview
28/10/2013 - Hi All,
Today we are pleased to show you a sneak peak at our first production resin miniature. This Shadow Hold female Troll is 5cm from head to toe and will be the largest miniature (for now) of all the races for Twelve Elements of War.
For Twelve Elements of War we wanted to make sure that we had races that looked in proportion to how they would be in the real world. The heights and physiques of our races will differ from other miniature ranges. However we feel that this sets our gaming universe and miniatures apart from the others.
The team over at Maxmini have done a great job at producing our first miniature with many more on the way in the future. We will be tweaking the armour details a little raising them up slightly.
We have a troll currently being painted up at the moment and hope to bring you some pictures before the Kickstarter in December.
